Description
Deutsch: Der historische Weinberg Geigersberg nordöstlich des Sachsenheimer Ortsteils Ochsenbach besitzt noch einen Großteil seiner alten Trockenmauern und beherbergt seltene Pflanzen- und Tierarten. Die Aufnahme wurde im März gemacht, da die Trockenmauern in dieser Jahreszeit besonders gut zu sehen und noch nicht vom Blattwerk der Reben verdeckt sind.
Diese Abschnitte des Geigersbergs gehören zu dem geschützten Biotop Trockenmauern am Geigers- und Liebenberg (Biotop-Nr. 169191182640).
Außerdem gehört der gesamte Geigersberg zum Landschaftsschutzgebiet Kirbachtal mit angrenzenden Gebieten von Sachsenheim-Häfnerhaslach über Sachsenheim-Hohenhaslach bis Sachsenheim-Kleinsachsenheim, Vaihingen-Horrheim und Vaihingen-Gündelbach (Schutzgebiets-Nr. 1.18.099, WDPA-ID 322126) und zum FFH-Gebiet Stromberg (Schutzgebiets-Nr. 7018341, WDPA-ID 555521777).
English: The historic Geigersberg vineyard, northeast of Ochsenbach, Sachsenheim in Germany, still retains many of its old dry stone walls, and is home to many rare plant and animal species. This photo shows the northern part, seen from south-south-east in March.
