Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Category:Maps showing data at subnational resolution

I had added that category to a couple of categories and a few files as a redcategory but didn't create it yet. Now you have created it but as far as I can see didn't add any files or subcategories to it. Maybe you had planned to do that at some point.

I deliberately didn't create that category yet because the files and categories included in it are a tiny fraction of that type of files on Commons. It's not good to create a category that is super incomplete because it's 1) not useful and 2) is misleading in that people landing there think that would be nearly all Commons has of that type of file. I don't know if there's a way to find files and categories of that type at scale. Prototyperspective (talk) 18:10, 19 December 2025 (UTC)

Hello @Prototyperspective. Thanks for letting me know, apologies I didn't know it was currently meant to be a redcat. I don't think I can make the category properly complete, so feel free to make it a redcat again.

I think this can be done by with filemover rights, which I notice you have. You can see what Kontributor 2K done in Category:W3c-nc-ET as an example. Apologies once again and thanks. Tvpuppy (talk) 21:07, 19 December 2025 (UTC)

Not sure, it appears it was done by first moving the page (without a redirect) to another name, and then speedy-nominate that page with the new name, which is possible since the new page would be empty. Thanks. Tvpuppy (talk) 22:51, 19 December 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for helping fight vandalism on Commons. Just a reminder, don't forget to mark the bad edit you undid as patrolled (see also COM:EDITPATROL). Doing so will remove the edit from the unpatrolled edits list and reduce our backlog, and thus prevents double work. See also Commons:Counter Vandalism Unit. The recent Khamenei related vandalism you reverted, particularly the nonsense DRs. Plz mark the revisions as patrolled when undoing them. It removes it from the unpatrolled edits list. Add missing brackets

Hello @Jeff G., thanks for letting me know that they are called curly braces (I thought they are also called brackets). I will fix the ones in converted speedy templates, I didn't realise these have problems as well, but before I did wondered where the missing braces have gone. Thanks.
